Palma airport is a large airport for a holiday island. From flight landing to exiting the baggage collection area into airport arrivals can take 30-40 minutes as most low cost airlines have arrival / departure pods to the far end of the airport complex for a quick aircraft turnaround.

Always check out the Terms and Conditions of whatever transfer company you chose. Some ‘Cheap Transfer’ brokers charge 15 euro for each detail change after a booking has been confirmed and paid for. Holiday detail changes often happen such as airlines changing arrival and return flight times , travel companies changing hotels at the last minute, etc.

Cheap sounding airport transfers can soon become expensive with detail change charges.     

ILLEGAL TAXIS…Taxi touts ply their trade in Palma airport arrivals hall walking alongside people with luggage asking if they need a taxi.
  
Taxi tout vehicles won’t be insured for carrying paying passengers and operate illegally. They are known for driving fast so they can get back to the airport for another illegal pick up.

Taxis at Palma airport taxi rank are licenced for a maximum of only 4 passengers.  Minibuses/Minicoaches/Shuttlebus Coaches and Wheelchair user vehicles are not available on demand at Palma airport, they must be pre booked.

Child/Baby seats and Boosters are not available in taxis at Palma airport taxi rank or taxis in resorts as they have an exemption from providing them.

Assistance for passengers with disabilities and walking problems is provided by the airport. You should contact your airline if you need such assistance on arrival.

For return transfers it is advisable to be at Palma airport departures at least 2 hours before flight time. Some low cost airlines close their check in desks 40 minutes before flight time.
